ASCENSIONS & CURSES

Encounter powerful modifiers that enhance or challenge your dungeon runs as you increase in difficulty.

Ascensions and Curses appear in dungeon runs at +1 difficulty and above. Ascensions provide bonuses to players, while Curses add additional challenges.

CURSES

Curses introduce challenging modifiers that test your party's adaptability and strategy, increasing the difficulty of dungeon runs.

Blood Shards curse icon

Blood Shards erupt from dying enemies, dealing 2.5% of their maximum health in damage to all players. BONUS Players hit by Blood Shards gain 1% Expertise for 30 seconds, stacking up to 15 times.
Meteor Rain curse icon

Periodically, burning meteors crash down on players, splitting up into fragments that damage and stun on impact BONUS Each time a meteor strikes the ground, players generate 5 Spirit Ability charge.
Binding Ice curse icon

Binding Ice

Curse+6
Periodically, one player is afflicted by an icy curse. After 5 seconds the curse erupts, dealing frost magic damage to all players within the radius and rooting them for 3 seconds. BONUS Enemies also take damage from Binding Ice.
Malevolent Spirits curse icon

Malevolent Spirits

As players gain kill score a Malevolent Spirit will appear, reducing all damage taken by other nearby enemies by 50% until the spirit is killed. BONUS Players instantly replenish 30% Max Health and 15% Max Mana upon defeating the Malevolent Spirit
Empowered Minions curse icon

A few non-boss enemies in each dungeon are empowered, gaining +100% Health and +200% Power. BONUS Upon defeating an Empowered Minion players gain +20% Haste and +20% Movement Speed for 40 seconds.

Non-boss enemies deal 10% more damage and have 10% more health. BONUS +10% Spirit
Ultimatum curse icon

Bosses deal 10% more damage and have 10% more health. BONUS Player's ability cooldowns are reduced by 10%.
Stone Skin curse icon

Non-boss enemies have 30% increased Maximum Health BONUS Non-boss enemies explode on death, dealing 10% of their maximum health as physical damage to all other enemies and bosses in an area around them.
Carnage curse icon

Carnage

Curse+11
10% of all damage taken by any player is replicated as a bleed that ticks every 3 seconds on all players in the group, divided evenly. Any time a player has 100% health, the bleed is removed. BONUS Players heal for 10% of all damage dealt by any player, divided evenly in the group. Each time a Boss is defeated, players gain an additional 5% healing from damage dealt.
